Any stone in the urinary tube (ureter) is reached via a ureteroscope, fragmented with a laser/lithotripter, and removed completely.
DJ Stent placed if necessary.
DJ STENTING
A small tube is placed in the ureter from the kidney to the urinary bladder. It has a double “J". The upper "J" is placed in the kidney and the lower "J" is in the bladder.
It can be kept from 4 weeks to 3 months, depending upon the indication.
A silicone stent can be kept for even a 1-year duration.
RIRS (RETROGRADE INTRA RENAL SURGERY)
Flexible ureteroscope with laser.
Its method uses a flexible fiberoptic endoscope, which is easy to bend and can enter any part of the kidney or ureter to address the problem.
With this advanced, high-power thulium laser fiber, even large stones in the kidneys can be dusted and removed using this method.
The best part of this treatment is that no incision is needed. It is painless and with minimal or no bleeding. Patients can be discharged as daycare or the very next day to resume their regular work immediately.
PCNL (PERCUTANEOUS NEPHROLITHOTOMY)
PCNL is the procedure to remove the stones from the kidney by small puncture through the skin.
PCNL is used to remove certain stones in the kidney or upper ureter that are too large for other forms of stone treatment.
BIPOLAR TURP (TRANS URETHRAL RESECTION OF PROSTATE)
Endoscopic resection or removal of part of the prostate gland that obstructing the urinary flow using a bipolar energy source.
LASER ENUCLEATION OF PROSTATE
The procedure uses a laser to remove tissue that is blocking urine flow through the prostate. A separate instrument is then used to cut the prostate tissue into easily removable fragments.
The procedure removes the entire portion of the prostate that can block urine flow. It can be an option to treat a severely enlarged prostate.
Laser prostate surgery can offer faster recovery and symptom relief compared with traditional prostate surgery. Also, no need for retreatment.
ADVANCED LAPAROSCOPIC UROLOGY
Modern surgical techniques in which operations in the abdomen are performed through small incisions (usually 0.5–1.5 cm) are called "keyhole surgery."
It offers reduced pain due to smaller incisions and less blood loss, shorter hospital stay, better cosmetic results, and shorter recovery time.
URO-ONCOLOGY
Urologic malignancy (kidney, bladder, prostate) is one of the most common cancers in the Indian population. If diagnosed earlier, it can be treated with a better prognosis. Patients can almost have a normal life span.
We are equipped with an advanced laparoscopic facility for uro-oncology surgeries, as well as TRUS for prostate cancer diagnosis and biopsy, and advanced bipolar diathermy for bladder cancer resection with the least complications.
PAEDIATRIC UROLOGY
Pediatric urology problems are managed with specialized care and modern equipment.
URO GYNECOLOGY
Problems related to the female urinary and reproductive systems. Common conditions treated here include overactive bladder syndrome, pelvic organ prolapse, post-hysterectomy prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, urethral diverticulum, urgency urinary incontinence, vesicovaginal and rectovaginal fistulas.
We specialize in treating stress urinary incontinence and vault prolapse with the advanced method.
INFERTILITY IN MALE AND FEMALE
In our center, couples can be evaluated at the same time with specialized people so that male and female causes can be diagnosed and treated earlier.
ENDO GYNECOLOGY
Gynecology related problems are treated with minimally invasive methods such as LAVH, TLH, Hysteroscopic resection.
ZSR CIRCUMCISION
Circumcision is done with a ZSR or stapler.
Painless procedure with minimal blood loss, no wound, and no scar left, 10-minute procedure, same-day discharge.
